I know when it is not c*cked the firing pin clicks back and forth, thats not what im talking about. It doesn't matter what, the slide seems to rattle a little bit when i shake it. Is this normal?

a little play in the frame to slide fit is normal. Too tight and it gets cranky with a little dirt etc. but then again, too losses is not good either. Just handle another glock to see how it compares. If concerned just have a gunsmith look at it real quick. But I think you will find it in the normal range.

that's pretty normal for guns at that price point, get in to sigs and hk no rattles until you get to about 20,000 rounds, my old p220 with close to 40,000 rounds through it is still tighter than the new XDm I picked up last month, not much differance in accuracy though. It's mostly your slide to rail and it's mostly the rear rail as it usually has a larger tollerance, the front rail does most of the work and has more to do with accuracy (hence the xd/xdm rear rail is polymer, no steel). if you have a mag in the bottom of the mag will rattle too (the top is held by the mag catch). shake hard enough and you can get the slide stop to rattle also. most of that should go away with a full mag as the pressure from the top round against the slide will help hold everything in place, the rounds in the mag and the bottom of the mag will still rattle.
the barrel will not rattle unless the slide is locked back, that's where the free float comes in to play. with the slide forward (in battery) your barrel is locked in by the lugs, in the glocks (and most modern designs) the ejection port and the outside of the chamber function as locking lugs and the barrel lug on the bottom is locked by the guide rod and main recoil spring. nothing moves and returns to the exact same place every time, that's what makes for an accurate gun.

Not sure what you are describing, my slide makes a slight sound when shaked back and forth.

Yes, Because the barrel is free-floated and the gun was designed with looser-fitting parts so if dirt or sand gets into the action, the gun wont Jam. I have a Glock 23 and Glock 17, and this is normal.
Enjoy shooting Your Glock, I'm Going to get crimson trace laser grips for mine tomorrow :]
