The Kahr is a pretty good little pistol. I would place it on average with the CZ and the Astra. They were not intended to be a real expensive pistol, but a "lower middle-of-the-road" type of pistol. Mine is a 9mm and it shoots very well. Actually on par with my Beretta. My CZ 75B also shoots extremely well for being an inexpensive pistol.
I have put well over 2000 rounds through mine if that is any difference, but that is mainly because I use these more inexpensive pistols for my students to get them familiar with different safety types on different handguns. It also helps them decide which pistols to consider based on how they feel in their hands.
Pistols I use in my training classes:
CZ 75B 9mm
Kahr 9mm
Glock 22 .40 S&W
Glock 19 9mm
Sig Sauer P-226 9mm
H&K USP .40 S&W
H&K USP SOCOM .45 ACP
H&K P7 M13
Ruger P-89 DC 9mm
Ruger GP-100 .357 Magnum, (Revolver)
Astra A-70 9mm
Beretta 92FS 9mm
All of these with the exception of the GP-100 have differences in the ways the controls on the pistols work. This is very important, as I want my students to decide for themselves which pistol is going to work best in their hands. As most the folks who take my classes are either doing this for work or because they have decided to defend themselves, it is important for them to select the pistol(s) they feel the most comfortable with.
As an interesting side note, most of the women who take my classes end up purchasing a .357 Magnum Revolver. Why? Because the .38 Special 110 Grain JHP from Cor-Bon is an excellent home defense cartridge. Its fairly powerful, and its VERY controllable.
I hope this will help you out.
Good Luck and Happy Shooting!
