At your local 7/11, should be right next to the plutonium aisle.

Cannon powder is black powder like FG and FFG grade black powder, you can buy it at most gun shops and sporting good stores, you can also buy cannon fuse there as well.

I don't know why I got a thumbs down, this is all true, go down to BOB's or any other sporting good store and ask. http://www.cannon-mania.com/black_powder.htm

Also may help.

If you can get coarser powder than FG that should work just as well if not better.

Let's see if I can reply without hitting a key wrong this time! The closest I've found is something called "Reenactors powder" but I'm not sure how this would work for firing anything other than blanks. I've got a naval 'one pounder' and I'm in need of something at least as coarse as FG and preferably coarser. Holler if you find a source, eh?

A gun shop may be able to help you, if it's just for a blank-firing saluting cannon. If you're planning to launch any sort of projectiles with it, I sure hope you have your Destructive Device permit from BATFE before you try anything.
