i have a Bushmaster ar-15 .223/5.56 and i love the aftermarket support on these ARs have.

im starting to get into hunting and would like to purchase a new deer rifle (i do not want to hunt with the AR, bullets will lack the range and damage that i would like in my opinion)

i currently use a Remington 770 for whitetail deer, but i would like to upgrade to something that would have similar or close to the aftermarket upgrades/grips/custom stocks that my Bushmaster has. (im looking for something i can make look tactical or whatnot) i know tactical looking guns are dumb to most people, but just my preference. i like guns with character.

looking for another 30-06 or bigger, any tips on what hunting rifles i should consider?

If you want to be able to upgrade the thing with a bunch of useless junk, go for a Remington 700 SPS.

Of course, you don't need to add a bunch of tactical crap to a rifle you're using for hunting. Guns with "character?" Try something like a Remington 700 CDL or a Savage 14. Heck, even a pre64 Winchester 70.

Tactical crap doesn't add character. Sorry if you're so deluded that you think it does.
