I've had one for awhile and am very haappy with it. It will accept ball, hollow points, wadcutters and Keith rounds without jamming.

I like Rugers, personally. They're reliable, sturdy weapons, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. The P-90 is no exception. My only reservation with Ruger's P series is the weapon's bulk. I have always considered Ruger pistols to be duty pistols, meant to be carried on the hip in an open holster, since it can be uncomfortable to carry concealed. The new P345 is a .45ACP double action that is supposed to be the exception to the rule, though. It looks much sleeker than the rest of the P series. I can't wait to try one!

I had a P-89, but the bulkiness of the weapon made it for a less than ideal carry weapon. I sold it and bought a Para Ordinance .45 1911 based. So far I love it. No jamming no matter what rounds I use and very accurate

I try to not think in numbers. But what is P-90 .45acp?

Ruger makes a good gun, but I find the trigger pull way too long. If you want a good 45, get a 1911 base. Colt, Wilson, and Para Ordinance makes excellent starting 45's.

Ruger makes excellent rifles but in my opinion the pistols are not that user friendly and are too bulky.

They are ok, but I would buy a Glock 45 if you are using it for protection. They don't rust, light weight and have three safety's.
