It ain't a Colt, but for your use, it should be OK.

Just one thing, unless that sucker has the blaze orange barrel insert, you'd better be damned careful who you point it toward. You point it at a rough old cob like me and you could quickly become shot.

BTW another word about quality. It is probably made of sintered metal, that is powdered low quality metal that is pressure molded into shapes. It is not made of forged steel. Don't try pistol whipping someone with it. You'd be right embarrassed if the barrel breaks off and there are still folks with unkind thoughts around. Also don't use it to drive in tacks, a la nailing up a wanted poster with it, that could also result in a broken grip frame.

That thing will be best used as a stage prop, or as part of a wall display of Old West artifscts and replicas.

It's probably not going to handle much use, try a few trigger pulls, then hang it up and leave it alone. It's not meant to be used like a prop gun would be. Most likely it's a cheap cast allow steel with little to no machining. You could make an awesome shadowbox display for it and the dummy rounds you got with it. Just don't expect it to last long if you "fire" it a lot.

Hey Maurice message or e-mail me I found a large selection of replica peacemakers for you to see and look over.* They are high quality and just what you are looking for.* You could sell the one you have to somebody else, and get a great one, that I want to tell you about.*

for the price, it is just fine.

It is NOT custom craftsmanship, but then it only cost 50 bucks

it is NOT anywhere close to as strong as a real firearm has to be, but then it is just a replica.

it is NOT going to fool anyone who knows anyhing about guns if they hold it in their hands, but then it is a 50 buck replica.

Keep it, enjoy it, don't do anything stupid with it.

since you already own it, keep it and use it as you intended, as a wall hanger. the look and quality are fine in that respect. if you want to fool a gun enthusiast with it, sorry, its a fake.
