Is this the same rifle?

Or this one?

The prices Impact wants are as listed. The one key difference I saw is the 7071-T6 aluminum spec, both in your quote and on DPMS's webpage for the A3 Lite. 7071 aluminum is often quoted as being used for automotive parts from what I found using Google. 7075 is usually found in all sorts of uses from aerospace to firearms to boat building. What the exact difference I'm not sure of; I couldn't find any sort of specification for 7071 aluminum. Personally I'd want the KNOWN aluminum spec rather than guess at how good the 7071 aluminum really is.

Hey ian... .223 and 5.56 are the same things. BUT you shouldnt fire 5.56 in a gun chambered in .223 because the cases are a slight bit different. Long story short a gun chambered in 5.56 will shoot both .223 and 5.56 but the .223 wont be as accurate a gun chambered in .223 will still fire 5.56 but its not good for the gun and a gun with a .223 wylde chamber will fire both about equally

Thats an ok price, $700-$730 is IMHO a better deal. (saw them here locally for that price)

I personally own one of these. Not top of the line, but functions just fine and a good deal compared to what you can spend on other companies ARs. Mine is chambered in the 5.56, which is a good idea if you plan on using the rifle for more than plinking or varmint hunting.

DPMS makes decent guns. They are not the fanciest, but it will work just fine. Being a lightweight gun it will be handy to use and carry.

That is a decent price. Compare here. These are prices from people that would ship it, you would also need to pay shipping and transfer.

If you read this article, you can see that it is safe to shoot .223 ammo in a 5.56 chamber.

It is an OK deal. Here it is on the internet that will cost slightly less than $750 if you include shipping and transfer fee and in most states you don't have to pay sales tax.

That is a great deal. I'd go for it, but I'd also find out if it's listed as .223 or 5.56. I know that these are the same since .223 cal is 5.56mm for the bullet itself, but the neck length and chamber pressur are different between the .223 and 5.56, so that the 5.56 NATO will fire both types of ammo, while something chambered in .223 shouldn't use 5.56. Sounds like a decent deal. If you don't like it, you will not have a problem unloading this thing for what you paid for it.
