My thought is you may have gotten some cleaning cloth fibers caught in the action and that is what is making cycling action stiff.
Take the gun apart, looking at all the parts, assemblies and sub assemblies for foreign debris that you may have loosened and inadvertently left in place.
When putting the gun back together you should have been able to put everything back in place without much force or effort. New guns sometimes have tight receivers and you have to do a bit of pushing and jiggling to put the trigger group back in place. But other than that, it should have been push parts to position, tap pins into place.
Be good practice for you to take the gun apart and trouble shoot the thing to find out what you may have done to make it so stiff.
I hope you oiled the parts with a good gun oil like Break Free CLP and not a preservative grease such as Rig. Grease, unless it is a slick stuff applied sparingly will make the action feel stiff. Not to mention collect gun powder residue, dust, dirt feathers, etc, more quickly than gun oil which goes on wet and dries.
