Question:
Could a rifle made for the 6mm BR round also fire the 6mm PPC round?

The 6mm BR and the 6mm PPC rounds are normally used for target competitions; with very specialized rifles. Since a .38 round will fire through a .357 revolver (but not vis-versa); would it be possible for a rifle made for the 6mm BR also fire the 6mm PPC round?

No.

38 Special and 357 Magnum are straight-walled cases that headspace on the rim, and the cases are identical except for a little added length for the latter. That's easy. 6mm PPC isn't even the same diameter, being .445" across the head compared to .470" for the 6mm BR.

No.

The reason that revolvers (and certain rifles) chambered for .357 Magnum will safely fire a .38 Special cartridge is that the .38 Special is the parent cartridge for .357 Magnum. The casing was lengthened for .357 Magnum.

The case for a 6mm BR does not have the same dimensions as the 6mm PPC. You would have to re-barrel the gun, or at the very least rechamber it. The 6mm BR has a wider base than the PPC, for example, so it would never properly chamber in a 6mm PPC firearm, and a 6mm PPC round would not properly feed in a 6mm BR rifle.

A good question, Edward. No, they weren't anticipating His resurrection. Among other traditions, it was a normal part of the Middle Eastern burial rituals that the family of the deceased would.need access to the body of their loved one. Initially, they would need to periodically reapply ointments to the body and the clothes it was wrapped in mummy-like (which is the reason that the women had gone to the tomb Easter morning) and after a year to put the person's bones into a stone box. . All tombs were constructed so that the stone could be moved away (also see the story about Lazarus when Jesus raised him from the dead). . The stones were rounded, set in trenches, so that people could get in, not with the idea that people would get out. . If you are interested in researching this topic further, there are newer archaeological reports and films that explain ancient Middle Eastern burial traditions ..... channels like National Geographic, the Science Channel, and so on. They are VERY fascinating and enlightening about the things that the Bible talks about. . I hope that answers your question, Edward. It is an excellent question !!!!! T

NO. Most rifles cartridges, including the two that you mention, are bottlenecked cases. With real revolver cartridges, the cases are straight walled and head space on the rim, so the case length does not matter.
