Cylinder choke

Skeet choke

Improved Cylinder

Either of those three chokes will serve you well. As you can probably tell from the name, the skeet choke is specifically useful for skeet. You even mentioned skeet chokes so you probably know what you're doing.

I don't know what model or gauge shotgun you are using, but I'll assume it is either 12 gauge or 20 gauge. At any rate, you might try an improved cylinder and see how it works.

Im going to persume that the gun in question is a sporter hence the ability to change the chokes.

I however think the qusetion you ask all drops down to your own personal choice, ability and knowledge of shooting.

I will persume once again that you cartridges will be 28g 7s,71/2s or 8

which are designed espechly for clays.

Like any sporting lay out there are birds designed to test your shooting ability, whether there high crossers, rising teal or rabbits ect

some of thees shots may me at distanc to, somthing i would not shoot cylinder at.

Im quite an established shot and on many occasion tackled sporting with full and full or 3quater and full ,

Though without been a smart ars my always preferd combernation is quater and half . Remember this is a simulation of what you might be tryed with when out in the field or on a game shoot.

And yet again i will be using thouse chokes on 100 sporting this evening

A lot of people are constantly changing chokes because the clay target presentations at each station are different. Some are close shots that require quick reflexes and some are shots that far away. Obviously, the choke requirements are different.

I use light modified Briley extended choke tubes in my over and under.

In my younger days and when I had more cash to spare! I found 1/2 and 3/4 worked well for me on a sporting circuit. The best way to find the set up for you and your gun is to buy a few cards a case of shells and have a go.

Good luck.

If you plan on using just one choke for the entire round, I think that I.C. would be the best choice.

Improved or modified, it says on the ammo box if you shoot with Federals
