gun is in great shape for it's age. I don't know when it was made
barrel chambers are mirror like,checkering has faded a bit and the stock is pretty nice.solid gun -everything is there.

Sorry, "in great shape for it's age" is not an objective description of the condition.....that could mean a lot of different things to each person.



Recent sold examples went from the $200 to $400 range for Lefever Nitro SxSs. The loweer ones were fait to good, the higher ones good to very good. Look up sold auctions to get an idea of your condition compared to others and the prices they sold for. Used 'Advanced Search' with 'lefever' as the keyword and "Ended in the last 90 days" in the When pull down menu.

I agree with the recommendation of Guns America and gunbroker, but the best way to find the real value is to find out what someone will actually pay you for it. If there are gun shows in your area, take it and see what collectors there will offer you. BTW, I have a 16ga Nitro Special and I was recently offered $600 for it, but it was handed down to me from my grandfather, and I'm planning to give it to my son some day and keep it in the family.
