Get a 1088, its a semi auto 8 shot pellet pistol, it uses Co2 and should be able to kill a snake with 400fps with 8gr pellets. The crosman 1377c classic is great to, its a single shot pump pistol that shoots 550fps with 8gr. The crosman 2240 pistol is a single shot .22cal co2 pistol that shoots 14.3gr pellets around 440fps (if you go to the crosman custom shop at crosman.com, you could order the 14inch barreled version which will boost the velocity to 520fps). Snakes are kinda easy to kill, most things will work (BBS don't).

If you want a real good compact snake killer, try a Taurus Judge, but this would really bust your budget. You could buy a single shot shotgun and stay pretty close to your budget. If you are going up against venomous snakes, wear snake chaps. If the are non venomous, please read below. I have killed rattle snakes with shotguns and shovels. I would never go up against one with a pellet gun.

"Let's remember that most non-venomous snakes are creatures that benefit the ecology. Black snakes get rid of pests, and common garter snakes are as gentle as mice when handled gently in return. Some snakes, such as the California king snake, eat venomous snakes."

First you do not favor to shoot heavy shot or metal out of your gun with a turkey choke, ask you gun broking and he will clarify why,i might want to describe yet you doesn't trust me and it would want to take too a lot time to describe. What i might want to do first is try a turkey load that is cooper jacketed #5 shot. The cooper keeps the shot from distorting (it continues to be round). when you're nevertheless not satisfied and it isn't pattering properly. positioned a aadjustable rifle factors of interest on it. you ought to purchase them at Di cks events, Cabelas, or likely at any gun save. I have in no way shot a turkey previous 30 yards and that i imagine the suited you may get is 30 to 40 backyard, its a shot gun not a riffle. to boot a lot previous that you received't have sufficient penitration to kill a turkey.

Walmart maybe. Make sure its 500fps or close to it so you can go all the way through and it will take a few unless its a head shot.

A Hoe is a good choice or lawn mower.

Crosman Phantom 1000, it's a good price and it shoots at 1000 FPS, plus it's a break barrel so no money wasted on CO2, and you can get one for about $90.

You are much better off with a 20 gauge... use #9, #8 or #7½ at the heaviest.

Try a garden hoe. The ammo is cheaper.
